Vanja Maric

Hi there! 👋 I'm Vanja, a 26-year-old creativist and journalist from Belgrade, currently based in Vienna. Moving between my two favorite cities, the mix of cultures, fast pace, and diverse people constantly inspire me to innovate.

With 5.5+ years of leadership experience in AIESEC, I’ve led 10+ teams and worked with 15+ more, gaining skills in event management, innovation forums, youth mentoring, and cross-cultural leadership. This journey has fueled my passion for communication, strategy, and building purposeful partnerships, which I continue to drive at UNIDO, contributing to the SDG Agenda through the Department of Digitalization and Innovation.

My career began as a writer for VICE Magazine, where I explored local issues through personal stories aimed at sparking change. This passion for storytelling continues in my work, where I aim to inspire action and help people realize they can create beyond their own limits. In my free time, I’m a nerd who enjoys reading, walking, traveling, and spending time with friends. But most importantly, I’m exploring the future forward!
